The US Dollar has been a staple of the worlds economy for decades. You would think something so important would at least be visually appealing, right? With my re-design of the US Dollar, I explored how to blend history with the future. The United States leads the world in space exploration, with major achievements such as the first moon landing, and the discoveries of the Mars Curiosity Rover. The future of our civilization relies on the discoveries of these missions.

With this re-design, I aimed to use unique, unexpected color combinations that pop. Pairing that with unique security features allows the new currency to be intriguing and eye catching. Important things should be exciting to use. It might even be viewed as a collectors item for people across the globe!
